The mission of the Fort Peck Tribes Prosecutor's Office is to uphold justice, protect the inherent sovereignty of our Nation, and promote healing through culturally grounded, fair and impartial prosecution. We are committed to serving the people with integrity, to uplift victims, restore balance and dignity that's guided by tradition, law, and the spirit of those that walked the path before us.

Adrienne Weinberger
Lead Prosecutor
Adrienne R. Weinberger serves as Chief Prosecutor for the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes. She has 25 years of experience within the tribal justice system, including service as both a prosecutor and lay advocate. She previously served as a tribal prosecutor from 2003–2009 and 2012–2016 before returning to the Prosecutor’s Office in 2024. She has completed formal coursework in federal Indian law, legal research and writing, and the Fort Peck Tribes Comprehensive Code of Justice. A veteran, Adrienne is committed to the fair and consistent administration of justice, protecting victims, strengthening public safety, and maintaining the integrity and independence of the Tribal Prosecutor’s Office.
Holly Denny
Assistant Prosecutor
Holly is passionate about serving her community and ensuring that justice is pursued with fairness, compassion, and integrity. Before becoming a prosecutor, she worked as a social worker, where she developed a passion for helping people navigate difficult circumstances and advocating for their needs. Holly is committed to providing support and justice for all.
Alexus Culbertson
Victim Services Coordinator
A lifelong member of the Fort Peck community, Alexus was born and raised on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation and has seen both the strengths of the community and the challenges faced by its people. Through her new role as Victim Services Coordinator with the Tribal Prosecutor’s Office, Alexus is dedicated to advancing community wellness, supporting victims of crime, and helping build a justice system rooted in dignity, respect, and healing.
Tristian Ward
Prosecutorial Legal Assistant
Tristian serves as a Legal Assistant with the Prosecutor’s Office and brings a diverse and well-rounded background in law enforcement, tribal government, and social services. She began her career with two years with the Department of Law & Justice and moved into the Tribal Court System briefly followed by assisting BIA departments. After receiving her degree in criminal justice she gained even more knowledge and experience working with Roosevelt County Dispatch.
One of the most meaningful parts of Tristian’s career was her time with Law & Justice and Roosevelt County where she worked closely with families and community members and collaborated on matters involving the Criminal Justice System. This experience strengthened her understanding of the importance of compassionate, culturally informed services and the role that each part of the justice system plays in supporting the community.
Tristian earned her degree in Criminal Justice from United Tribes Technical College (UTTC) in 2020. Through her varied experiences, she has gained a unique perspective on the many sides of the legal system. She is passionate about helping the justice system operate as smoothly, fairly, and effectively as it should, and brings that commitment to her work each day in the Prosecutor’s Office.
